Natascha Otero-Santiago

Natascha Otero-Santiago is a Public Relations professional with more than two decades of experience in the US Hispanic market. As Principal of NOS-Communications, she creates and implements public relations, marketing, social media, and community campaigns for small businesses and Forbes 500 companies. Her expertise is to engage and elevate companies and brands with a culturally focused strategy. Among the campaigns she has led are “Ford Millennials” for Ford Latino, “Formula E” for DHL Americas, award-winning “VALOR” campaign for the Ana G. Mendez University System, and the expansion in the U.S. – “Click Your Red Heels and Return Home” - of NOVUS shoe retail stores, among many. Otero-Santiago has also conceived and led digital campaigns – such as “Que Vote Mi Gente” and “Respeta Mi Gente” - during the past four election cycles specifically geared towards the Puerto Rican vote – both nationally and in Florida.

 

Otero-Santiago is the founder of Parranda Puerto Rico, an organization whose mission is to unite and help the Puerto Rican diaspora in the US and create community and economic connections with Puerto Rico. Among her achievements are being chosen by LATISM in 2015 & 2016 as a Top Digital Influencer;  named by the Huffington Post as one of the world's leading Social Media & Inspirational Leadership; and to have been featured in Forbes as A Puerto Rican Citizen Goes to Washington - for her work with the Puerto Rican vote during the 2012 elections. 

 

In 2020, Otero-Santiago received the Ford Fund “Latina Entrepreneur Grant” and was honored as a Top Latino Leader by The Latin Times. In 2016, she received the "Mujer Legendaria" recognition by Ford Motor Company. Otero-Santiago has been featured in several prestigious outlets like BBC NewsNBCLatinoNPR, CBS and NBC News for her efforts during the 2016 and 2018 elections; her work with small minority owned business clients; expertise with the Hispanic market; and for her unwavering assistance with Hurricane Maria relief efforts where she implemented the first donation center in South Florida where half a million pounds of donations were gathered and were delivered by the Ricky Martin Foundation to the island.

 

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Puerto Rican Agenda, and the Puerto Rican Leadership Council. She has coordinated nationally recognized events such as Mashable Social Media Day, TedxMiami, and Social Media Week in South Florida. She has been invited on numerous occasions to speak as an expert in conferences about the Hispanic community, the Millennials generation, the Latino vote, and the Puerto Rican diaspora community. Ms. Otero holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from Tufts University.
